Every time I install a new plane or helicopter, they never see my X55 throttle. Forcing me to try to configure the throttle for each plane or helicopter I install. There are some planes I have never used because there is no way to make the plane see the throttle. The default P51 is an example of a plane that will not respond to my X55 throttle.

This has been an issue for as long as I have used DCS and with other HOTAS products. I am up to date with the sim updates, as these happen automatically. So, what is going on???

If you don't have it connected to a powered hub I would strongly recommend doing so.

Rig: Asus TUF GAMING B650-PLUS; Ryzen 7800X3D ; 64GB DDR5 5600; RTX 4080; VPC T50 CM2 HOTAS;

Pimax Crystal Light

I'm learning to fly - but I ain't got wings

With my head in VR - it's the next best thing!

I had a problem with my x-55 throttle if it was not in USB 3.0. It is really power hungry, you can either get it disconnected or have ghost button presses while moving throttle. If you do not have USB 3.0+ then go buy a powered USB hub.

And regarding the need to setup the throttle for all new planes, I have to do this with my warthog too. The axes are never detected correctly. But you need to do it only once...

Do, or do not, there is no try.

Yeah I have to rebind all my keys and axis but it's only once for each plane. You would have to do the buttons anyways to get them to your liking. As for some planes not detecting...I have never had that problem, both with USB 2 and 3.0, just go to the axis bind and move the stick and then the throttles individually in DCS and it detects it. Are you moving them individually or locked together?
