Sharkku Posted April 21, 2017 Posted April 21, 2017 Last update fixed the reversed deflection of the CDI needle when following a VOR radial, but now the deflection is reversed when tracking an FM homing beacon.
epolta Posted April 24, 2017 Posted April 24, 2017 Glad to see someone else noticed this. Thought I was going crazy but flying ARGO with FM homing and I kept flying 180 degrees off heading until I realized CDI is backwards for FM homing!
Sharkku Posted April 25, 2017 Author Posted April 25, 2017 Yeah, I feel somewhat guilty since I was pretty active reporting the VOR bug, and even suggesting simply multiplying the deflection value by -1. Seems both FM homing and ILS are reversed now. I'm sure it'll be fixed in the next update.
ESA Dodo Posted April 26, 2017 Posted April 26, 2017 Yes, I can confirm that ILS localizer indication is now reversed. ILS: Localizer interceptation turn. Wrong indication ILS: Glide path Ok. Localizer on course. ILS: Rigth of course, localizer brings reversed indication (right). Over OM. ILS: Left of course, reversed indication. ILS: On course on glide path. ADF: Needle shows station crossed.
Sharkku Posted April 28, 2017 Author Posted April 28, 2017 Great! It's fixed now, version 1.5.6.4818!
ESA Dodo Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 Thanks a lot! Is the CDI properly working in VOR mode now? I will check anyway.
Sharkku Posted April 29, 2017 Author Posted April 29, 2017 Yep, the CDI is working properly now, both VOR, FM and ILS!
