Landing = FBW Error when Nosewheel touches the ground?

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

Pretty much what the tittle says... Everytime I land the Mirrage and the nosewheel touches the ground, it gives me a "DECOL" FBW Error...

It doesn't matter if you lower the wheel smoothly or hard...

EDIT: Just for the sake of "checklist"

Gear Down (3 lights)

App mode

14AoA

Touchdown arround 150kts

EDIT 2: Got my answer, just reset trimm or double tap the auto-pilot stand-by button.

Sorry for my Ignorance :/

DECOL is no FBW error.

DECOL = Décollage = Takeoff

If the light is on, you don't have takeoff clearance / not all takeoff requirements are met.

Those requirements are:

-FBW test warning light is not red (hence you do the FBW test on startup) and cover is closed

-Anemo switch is on (Pitot heating is on)

-Becs (slats) is on auto mode.

-Emergency trim is not selected

- Aircraft is not trimmed

So my guess, you used your trim while flying. Reset it by either:

-Turn autopilot on and off.

-Toggle autopilot standby hotas switch

-Use trim reset

Too slow in typing my answer, got ninja sniped by your edit

Yeah, I'm aware of that now, but thanks anyways. I said it was a FBW error because it's the one that stays on when you don't test your FBW system.
