Pro Flight Trainer Puma (4th Gen) For Sale

For sale is my virtually unused Pro Flight Trainer Puma system. I was going to create two cockpits, one for fixed wing, and one for rotary wing, but I just don't have the space. I've instead had to opt for one simpit for both, with interchangeable controls, and this system didn't work for my setup. Works great, though.

"This is the 4th Generation Puma Pro Flight Trainer Helicopter Flight Control system. It features a B8 style helicopter cyclic grip as seen on many aircraft, including the Bell 206, UH-1 Iroquois, UH-60 Blackhawk, and many others. The system also features an integrated collective and rudder pedal set with everything feeding into one controller board that provides a USB connection to the computer.

 

This particular one for sale was purchased for a new sim setup to act as the helicopter control system. Unfortunately, the way the system is put together did not work with either of my sim chairs (Monstertech, and Obutto). This system is meant to be used with a 4-legged chair, and as tested by me, works great with one (steel folding chair, or kitchen chair). I just don't have the room for the extra stand-alone sim.

 

This item was assembled, tested, and found to be in great working condition. It worked great with all pieces of software I have on my system (DCS, IL-2 Sturmovik, FSX, and P3D). As a helicopter pilot, I found the resolution, physical feel, and features on this system to be perfect for helicopter simulation.

 

Assembly was straight-forward and easy with the provided printed instructions (also includes an optical disk with .pdfs).
