Lookiss Posted May 21, 2017 Posted May 21, 2017 Hi The AI A-10 pretty always ends up circling one of its targets endlessly till it runs out of fuel. It comes in, launches two mavs from a safe distance, then comes closer for a new target to be attacked with either cluster bombs or GBU's, but flies over it and then gets stuck in a loop as if it's turning sharply so that it gets too close to the target every time. It's a behaviour that was also present in Strike Fighters 2. Exact same thing. Is this just DCS World? Or is this corrected with FC3 or the A-10C module? Or is there a LUA file in which you can modify a minimum distance that the AI attacks from?
Haukka81 Posted May 21, 2017 Posted May 21, 2017 Its dcs AI, i hope it will get fixed least in when 2.5 comes. Those AI pilots can still even fly plane right. Just try to set NOE flight and you see what i mean. AI is never perfect in any simulator but in this its just very,very bad.
