philstyle Posted May 30, 2017 Posted May 30, 2017 I noticed last night, when spawning inside one of those dark green canvas hangars that the lighting in the hanger was incredibly over-bright. Seeing through the opening in the hangar, the sky outside was almost completely white. inside the hanger was all washed out. As I taxied out of the hanger, the brightness reduced significantly. The sky went from white to blue and the colours adjusted to a more normal pallete. Now, I know the new lighting system has an "adjustment" for the pilots eyes, but still this is not how it works in RL. Our Iris' only open up as much as they need to when we are indoors, to compensate for the lower light. To add to this, I also noticed that when an aircraft overflew me, there was a short period when it should have been casting a solhouette/ shadow above me, and in RL would appear as a black outline. However in 2.1, the aicraft just disappeared. Similarly, then the aircraft flew below me, and should have had sun reflecting off its entire surface, it went dark like the colour of the trees, or disappaeared (either way, I could not see it). Does this suggest that one of the lighting or shadow values is inverted - the lighting apepars to be doing the opposite of what it does in the real world, at least for me anyway. komemiute Posted May 30, 2017 Posted May 30, 2017 Does it do the same if you deselect HDR from the graphics options?
