Hub Posted June 21, 2017 Posted June 21, 2017 I looked but could not find a thread on this, although I feel there is one . There seems to be many times I am in the 51 where my engine will freeze/ blow up . My coolant temps are always in the green when this happens. last night I was flying to land, rpm 26 manifold 45 My radiator for coolant was manually opened . Pop goes the engine. Any hints as to what I am doing wrong? When I don't seem to stress the engine why would it give out? Or do the temps not always show what's going on? Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
LURKINGBADGER Posted June 22, 2017 Posted June 22, 2017 Its a pain if you dont know whats gping on, i have gone trough this as well. See if this thread helps https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=167733 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Hub Posted June 22, 2017 Author Posted June 22, 2017 Guessing at some point in the flight I must have lowered RPm and had a high boost. However it was only for a few seconds. OTher then that I manage the engine as mentioned . Thanks for the reply ! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
