funkyfranky Posted July 17, 2017 Posted July 17, 2017 Does anyone get the correct wind velocity vector from the atmospheric singleton function? wind=atmosphere.getWind(vec3) only gives me zero values for wind.x, wind.y, wind.z. Wind in the ME is set to 20 knots at all heights blowing from west to east (static weather). Same result with atmosphere.getWindWithTurbulence(vec3). Tested in DCS 2.1.1. Grimes Posted July 18, 2017 Posted July 18, 2017 Have a sample mission of it not working? Both functions were returning values when I tested it. funkyfranky Posted July 18, 2017 Author Posted July 18, 2017 Thanks Grimes! I'll have an other look and double check. Maybe it's fault. If not, I'll attach the mission. funkyfranky Posted July 18, 2017 Author Posted July 18, 2017 Yap, my mistake. Was evaluating the function exactly zero meters "above" ground level  At higher altitudes, it works like a charm. Thanks again!
