Jetstream Posted July 27, 2017 Posted July 27, 2017 Hi, I hope someone out there will be able to give me some help with my problems. I have been using my X52 Pro for some time without problems until now. I've been away from my PC for about a month and when I went start flying again in the A10C I got problems with Pitch & Yaw, and the Nose Wheel Steering when taxiing. The a/c will continually pull to the right, and when taking off it's all over the runway. When I eventually get airborne that's when the joystick has a mind of its own. As soon as I lift off the a/c will immediately bank right and nose dive and I have to really fight it to stay in the air. I am really frustrated with this, I have tried reinstalling the software, that didn't work. I also mess around with control settings and the Saitek program. Nothing I do will get any of the a/c to work correctly. I would appreciate any advice you all can give me to solve this headache. Thanks, Alan
dhevans79 Posted July 27, 2017 Posted July 27, 2017 What do you see when you lool in the control panel settings for the joystick? Does it show the same behaviour as you describe in the aircraft? Or is this something that happens only when DCS is active? Is this behaviour only triggered once the SST is running, or will the joystick also behave the same when it has been killed? Any other settings or setup that we should be aware of when deacribing your issue? Jetstream Posted July 28, 2017 Author Posted July 28, 2017 Hi, Everything is ok in the settings, all axis work fine. This only happens in DCS, I have tried it with Prepar3D and it works fine. The same thing happens with or without SST. I have tried using different USB ports but that makes no difference. Can't think what else to try. Alan
Ramstein Posted July 29, 2017 Posted July 29, 2017 (edited) do you have pedals or do you use the rudder twist? How old is the stick, any sticking buttons, etc.. my stuff is older and the sticky button problems usually start with age, and not just with Saitek... I have Saitek X52 Pro and CH pedals My Saitek pedals had to many problems with age, so they were retired... Calibrate your stick also. The A-10C has the insert key to lock the steering. one more thing, I had to stop using the turn knobs, as they got old and would send bad inputs to controls. Jetstream Posted July 31, 2017 Author Posted July 31, 2017 I do have Saitek pedals and have the same problems with them. They are not very old and nothing sticks. As I said everything works as it should in P3D so I would think it has to a DCS problem, but how to fix it? I don't know.
