Add more sounds to existing aircraft ?

For example say I wanted to add more external sounds to the su27 than what is currently available is this even possible ?

Can you define what you mean by 'add more'? You can change the sounds that are used, sure. However, adding more sounds for different parts of the aircraft that currently do not exist may not be possible.

For example - "PlaneAfterburner" - sdef/wav , I would like to add a PlaneAfterburner2 or perhaps more , this is in order to be able to make more complex and dynamic sound for each aircraft.
