Keep losing missile tone at the worst time...

So this has happened a time or two, and even saw it occur one one of Ralfidude's videos, but I was flying on BlueFlag NTTR this afternoon, and lost my missile tone in the middle of an engagement, I had no idea if I had a lock or weather or not my missile was caged or uncaged. A little while later, tone came back without me changing anything. Is this a bug or is there a cycle time for cooling of the seeker head that has been added recently?

I notice that after a long chase, just because I wanted play chicken with F14, TopGun Legit

 

It happened two times, I just thought that I'm really bad at this game..:helpsmilie:
