Robin_Hood Posted October 3, 2017 Posted October 3, 2017 I just noticed this: when the waypoint 0 is selected on the VTB (ie: digital BRA is displayed), changing to Cv Nac on the HSI changes the bearing from magnetic to true. However, when some other waypoint is selected, then it does nothing, and true bearing is always used. I don't know if this is intended, but this is a little weird (especially since Bullseye calls should use magnetic bearings AFAIK). 2nd French Fighter Squadron
Frederf Posted October 5, 2017 Posted October 5, 2017 00 data changing in step with Cm-Cv selection makes sense. 01 data being forced to a constant reference also makes sense. What doesn't make sense is why 01 data would be forced to Cv provided intercept controllers were giving BE calls in magnetic. In the case radio BE calls reference magnetic then the 01 data should be enforced Cm by design instead.
