postc
I just installed the latest update for DCS World OpenBeta and received a virus alert in Avira for the Mig-15bis module. Has anyone else had an issue with this? Is the virus software reporting a false positive?
Balzarog
Yes, I've had exactly the same issue. I purchased the MiG-15bis module this past weekend and tried to download and install it in 1.5.7. I received a virus message that the Mig15.dll was infected and Avira quarantined it. The module still installed, but when using instant action and training, only the map appears. I put in a support ticket, but they just said to run cleanup and repair 1.5.7.x., and reinstall the module. It didn't work and they are rethinking it. UPDATE: I ran DCS_updater.exe cleanup and DCS_updater.exe repair a second time today. It worked this time so I closed my support ticket. If you encounter this issue, perform a cleanup and subsequent repair of DCS World aopenBeta 1.5.7.10xxx. postc
Thanks Balzarog! I did as you recommended and that seems to have resolved the issue.
