SkeeterDu Posted October 23, 2017 Posted October 23, 2017 Do you guys think is worth to wait or buy their mcg joystick? Sent from my ASUS_X008DC using Tapatalk
Sokol1_br Posted October 23, 2017 Posted October 23, 2017 This "F-14 joystick" will be a 5/6 buttons (1 more if add the pad in grip base) + POV HAT grip. MCG PRO is ~24 or more buttons grips + mini-stick's + brake lever. Apple and Oranges, different grips for different needs. So best to do is bough MCG TM now, ops... when released in "two weeks, be sure"™ and when this F-14 grip came bough then too. ;)

Buckeye Posted October 23, 2017 Posted October 23, 2017 (edited) Do you guys think is worth to wait or buy their mcg joystick? Sent from my ASUS_X008DC using Tapatalk I haven't decided whether or not I will get a VKB, VPC or BRD base...but I have decided that I will own all of the following grips for whatever base I decide on: 1) Warthog grip (for flying the A-10C & F-16, 2) Hornet grip (for flying the F/A-18C & Harrier), 3) Tomcat grip. Why? Because I want the grip in my hand to match the grip in the plane I am flying in the sim. It's an immersion thing for me. Those are really the only 4 planes I will ever fly, so all of my bases will be covered with their realistic grips. My point: It doesn't really matter what grip you buy, just get a base you like and you can fit any grip you want to it. It's 100% your call, personal preference, on how "realistic" you want the grip you hold in your hand to be to the sim you're flying. That said, I would never use the Tomcat grip to fly planes other than the Tomcat because it doesn't have a ton of options for key bindings...if I was going to go with a non-matching grip, I'd at least pick one with a lot of buttons. shonist Posted October 23, 2017 Posted October 23, 2017 since it seems you dont have the money for both, and that you are not that fanatic of the f14 (if you were you would bought it anyways) ill say go for the one that has more buttons and will ensure you will have less problems in the future with other planes. i guess...
