Joe Lighty Posted October 27, 2017 Posted October 27, 2017 The dog has chewed the long USB cable on my TM Cougar - I haven't opened it up yet to see what the internal terminations are like, but is this pretty easy to replace, or are we talking "micro electronics" inside? I don't really have an idea where to purchase a new cable of such length? Any ideas? Thanks.

Email Thrustmaster customer support http://www.thrustmaster.com/en_US/contact and request to order a replacement Joystick USB cable. Guillemot (aka, Thrustmaster) will acknowledge your request by sending you an email with a case number. Once you get the case number call them on the phone (866) 889-5036, and order the cable using the case number. Guillemot is in France so they are a bit slow to get it to you but, it will come.
Thadiun Okona Posted October 28, 2017 Posted October 28, 2017 Super easy to replace if you have the part, just a plug on the pcb and a ground wire screwed by an eyelet to the chassis.
Joe Lighty Posted October 29, 2017 Author Posted October 29, 2017 Thanks for the advice - have emailed them and will see how we go - many thanks.
