target messed everything up

hi all, i have experienced some rather infuriating issues with thrustmaster's target software. I have a Tm warthog + throttle and the t-rudder pedals, after running target for the first time and running a profile, it didn't work, it merely unmapped my controllers, and then when i closed target down; my controllers didn't return. and now they do not work if plugged into certain usb ports on my PC in that the computer simply doesn't recognise them being plugged in. I have uninstalled target and all the drivers, yet this issue persists. my warthog, throttle and t- rudder; after running target, simply don't work in certain usb ports, nothing pops up in game controllers or device manager, nothing. however in certain usb ports on my pc they work. This is a truly bizarre issue, does anyone know how to fix it?

With target not running, your computer and games will see three devices. Once you start target and run a profile, those three devices become TM Combined. Anything that you had mapped while the devices were 3 independent devices will not work in the combined mode. Same if in combined, the mappings won't work. So with target running, you will need to configure each mapping as you wish.

 

To fix the issue with the computer not registering, I recommend browsing to the install folder of Target and searching for every .exe file located within. Right click each, go to properties and set them to run as admin. For what ever reason, the file that allows the combined joystick to roll back to independent controllers, will not run. The solution is setting them to run as admin.
