Cowboy10uk Posted November 30, 2017 Posted November 30, 2017 Hi guys, practicing my landings a made a particularly hard landing which resulted in my nose wheel being unable to retract and stuck in the down position. However the gear warnings lights in the cockpit showed the gear was locked and raised normally, and when I lowered the gear, it then showed 4 greens. Isn’t it supposed to show Red in a particular gear is in an unsafe configuration? Can upload a photo of the gear in an external shot later on, when I get my phone back if that’s ok. Zeus67 Posted November 30, 2017 Posted November 30, 2017 It should show a GEAR warning light and the gear handle should be light as well is the handle position and the gear position are not the same. Yep that what I thought, it showed absolutely nothing and acted as if there was nothing wrong with the gear, I only realised the nose gear was stuck down, when I went outside for a screen shot. Will try and test it again and get some shots. Should be easy enough with my flying. ;) Cowboy10uk [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Fighter pilots make movies, Attack pilots make history, Helicopter pilots make heros. :pilotfly: Corsair 570x Crystal Case, Intel 8700K O/clocked to 4.8ghz, 32GB Vengeance RGB Pro DDR4 3200 MHZ Ram, 2 x 1TB M2 drives, 2 x 4TB Hard Drives, Nvidia EVGA GTX 1080ti FTW, Maximus x Hero MB, H150i Cooler, 6 x Corsair LL120 RGB Fans And a bloody awful Pilot
