Havoc25 Posted November 30, 2017 Posted November 30, 2017 Bought AV-8B and then downloaded Open Beta. It worked the first couple times then had issues. One issue now is that when I start Open Beta, it tries to open Steam VR instead of Oculus. So it will run VR at all. Not sure why it is trying the do anything with Steam. It has never done that before with Alpha or Stable 1.5. How can I get it back to Oculus?
Raven (Elysian Angel) Posted December 1, 2017 Posted December 1, 2017 You don't need Oculus for DCS: just make sure your DCS_updater.exe and Oculus.exe are set to Run As Administrator. That way, Oculus Home won't open automatically when you put on your Rift. Havoc25 Posted December 3, 2017 Author Posted December 3, 2017 I have Oculus. It was trying to run STEAMVR. I figured it out though. My compatility mode somehow was set with Windows 8. Changed it and all went back to normal.
