mvsgas Posted December 7, 2017 Posted December 7, 2017 On the MPCD engine page, Inlet Guide Vanes should be at 31° to 39°at idle power/RPM, at max power it should be 0° to -4° IAW A1-AV8BB-NFM-000, 2-1, paragraph 2.1.1.1 2.1.1.1 Inlet Guide Vanes ... At max power the IGVs will be 0 to -4 degrees. Normal IGV angle at idle will be 31 to 39 degrees... I am unable to upload screenshot, to big I think. To whom it may concern, I am an idiot, unfortunately for the world, I have a internet connection and a fondness for beer....apologies for that. Thank you for you patience. Many people don't want the truth, they want constant reassurance that whatever misconception/fallacies they believe in are true..
mvsgas Posted December 12, 2017 Author Posted December 12, 2017 This is present in version 2.2.0.12448.295 as well. IGV angle at idle show -2 in the MPCD engine page which seem reverse when compared to documentation. 1 To whom it may concern, I am an idiot, unfortunately for the world, I have a internet connection and a fondness for beer....apologies for that. Bravo Posted December 22, 2017 Posted December 22, 2017 (edited) IGV limits for takeoff check are outside limits. it rests at 23-24% while it should be within the limits as shown in A1-AV8BB-NFM-000 page 7-38 on figure 7-2. It seems as it doesnt react to temperature differences and remain the same even when changing the ambient temperature Airborne test at 80% RPM shows Cor Comp at 84% results in IGV 14%. According to the table it should be between 11.5% and 2.5% Edited December 22, 2017 by Bravo Airborne test 1
