GmoneyMacFresh Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 Hello! I bought the F-5 3 or 4 months ago, but am yet to actually fly the aircraft in DCS. I've watched a few start up vids on youtube so I understand that you need to connect ground air, but there doesn't ever seem to be any available? What do I need to do to start practicing with this Jet! thanks in advance! --Newb:helpsmilie:
VIKBELL Posted December 11, 2017 Posted December 11, 2017 (edited) Just a question when the ground crew say copy to your commands. 1. connect air supply ....copy then air is connected.. 2. apply air supply ...copy air is applied . then on the engine gauge that you asked for you should see a rise from 0- 15 psi. Press the ignitor button for that engine and move the fuel from cut off to idle. lmp Posted December 11, 2017 Posted December 11, 2017 (edited) Ground crew doesn't work if the airbase you're at is neutral. The fast mission generator doesn't change the allegiance of the airfield to friendly when you spawn on the ground. A way to fix it is to edit the generated mission and set it manually. That said it's probably not the best idea to start with a combat mission created with the fast mission generator. They are balanced towards modern aircraft. Edited December 11, 2017 by lmp
