RvETito Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 I was remapping my russian flighters profile and I wanted to assign RightWin+I(radar BVR modes) to the HAT 2 down position but the software don't recognize the keystroke as combined but as sequence of separate buttons, no matter how I press these keys. Anyone? "See, to me that's a stupid instrument. It tells what your angle of attack is. If you don't know you shouldn't be flying." - Chuck Yeager, from the back seat of F-15D at age 89. =RvE=
Black_Hawk Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 Have you tried making a macro? Make it with a short interval (0.01, 0.05...) 159th GAR LockOnFiles CAW Team
RvETito Posted January 26, 2007 Author Posted January 26, 2007 Tried both with short and longer delay interval- it executes only the I key command i.e. turning the radar on/off. It seems that the profile editor doesn't recognize the RightWindows key. "See, to me that's a stupid instrument. It tells what your angle of attack is. Black_Hawk Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 Strange. How about reassigning the keystroke in LO so you will be able to program the macro from SST? I reassigned quite a lot of commands in LO so that the profile editor could recognize some of my macros and make them work. 1 159th GAR LockOnFiles CAW Team
CharlieMike24 Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 My keyboard doesn't have a RWin button. I got around this by using Lock On keyboard options to change "RWin+I" into "Ctrl+I" (or some other key combination). Make sure the x52 hat is being programmed as "buttons" and then program it to press "Ctrl+I". Hope this helps.:) 1 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
RvETito Posted January 26, 2007 Author Posted January 26, 2007 Thanks guys, reassigning the command in LO solved the problem. I used single key- Backspace- rather a combination of keys. Rep inbound for both of you  "See, to me that's a stupid instrument. It tells what your angle of attack is. Guest mike240se2 Posted January 28, 2007 Posted January 28, 2007 Did you have the problem with your x52 where everytime you go to assign a joystick button it automatically assigns button 32 and 34 which are the scroll wheel? Its driving me nuts, i went into the driver config and its not permenantly stuck or anything, its weird. i tried rebooting to no avail
Black_Hawk Posted January 28, 2007 Posted January 28, 2007 Don't program the keystrokes in LO, use SST instead, it is MUCH better, and each button can have up to 6 commands. 159th GAR LockOnFiles CAW Team
