Another WWII Theater: Sicily

[Knock-Knock]

Yea I know, Normandy isnt even out of Alpha, Caucasus hasnt hit 2.5 yet, and SoH is on the horizon. But why not think, well, wish ahead a little.

 

And for that, Id like to suggest Sicily and a good chunk of Italy's boot, a 500 km (270 nm) wide, 425 km (230 nm) high map. This will have a great deal of landmass, but also a lot of water, all around. Scenery wise its as varied as it can be. Flat plains, valleys, mountains, volcano's, small islands, volcano islands. Fantastic terrain.

 

And it was a cornerstone of the allied assault on Europe.
