Audio problems

Hi

I have setup my PC and have connected to a AV amp via an optical cable. When I run tests in Windows this works seamlessly and ditto with Youtube clips etc, sounds are great. The problem comes when I start DCS either 1.5.8 and 2.2 I have no sound at all? If I use a 3.5mm jack to Audio plug (Red and White) everything works fine. I have a SB Audology Z sound card.

 

Could anyone suggest what the problem could be?
