Pilotasso Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 http://www.tomshardware.com/2007/01/29/xp-vs-vista/ Gaming sucks (and much of everything else) so unless you want to spend your whole time being WOW'ed by its new desktop look, it is pretty much useless to upgrade right now. If sales dont go as popular as Microsoft wants, meybe theyll hurry to get a service pack out, otherwise youll only see that in a year. My 2 cents. ;) American woman, stay away from meeeehehee American Woman, let me beeeeeeheheee Dont knock you knock on my door I dont want to see your face no more I got better things to do than spend my time goin on with you. :D .
VMFA-Blaze Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 I just heard that Microsoft only expects that 12 % of the worlds computers will have Vista installed within a year, so the bottom line is you've got time.. I have Windows XP Pro OEM and Windows XP Pro 64 OEM both with the upgrade, so I ordered the Vista upgrade last week ... Originally I had read on the Microsoft web sight that it would cost you $20.00 S/H.. But they're only charging $10.00 which is very surprising... I'm not going to install Vista as of yet but I will when I hear that DX10 is available... The Ultimate package is actually the one that has a specific game level included, I was wondering if this means that DX10 is available with that level of Vista? The Ultimate is selling for around $200.00... I think I'm going to hold off anyway, the price for this just might come down... ~S~ Blaze intel Cor i7-6700K ASUS ROG MAX VIII Extreme G.Skill TridentZ Series 32 GB Samsung 850 Pro 1TB SATA II ASUS GTX 1080/DIRECTX 12 Windows 10 PRO Thrustmaster Warthog Oculus Rift VR
