I have just updated to Win10 from 7 and am learning my way around it after some help from my son. I just noticed that I get no sound from my new Acer Predator Z271 monitor. It was fine with Win7. The monitor is not listed in playback devices as it was in Win7. Do I need a driver or is there a setting I'm missing? I have waded thru Google with no usable results.

The monitor is connected to Display Port.

I will be grateful for any :helpsmilie:

If you open Device Manager, what do you see for monitor there?

I have Predator X34 and I didn't have to do anything. And I'm connected via Display port.

Maybe you can delete the monitor listed there and reboot or use "add new hardware" to autodetect it again?
