Squareshaped explosion at distance

Hi!

 

I couldn't find any topics on this issue.

 

If you look at this screen it is like it's supposed to be

 

 

But further away it looks like this

 

 

as you see, the shockwave is still there but the background is kind of screwed.

 

Anyone who knows how to solve this?
