BFQ Posted January 4, 2018 Posted January 4, 2018 AI infantry stops before they come to the final waypoint, after having been in combat. If this is due to post-traumatic stress syndrome or to the lack of ammo, I do not know. But I would hope that someone of you know how to change this behavior, with the help of script or by any other means?
feefifofum Posted January 6, 2018 Posted January 6, 2018 You need to flip their alarm state to green for them to start moving again; the drawback is they will not shoot. Try creating a zone over the area in which they will be engaged, and adding a triggered action to your infantry group for set option -> alarm state GREEN. We'll call the group infantry, the zone "combat area", and the triggered action "alarm green" for the sake of this example. Trigger: SWITCHED CONDITION (push alarm state, NO EVENT) Conditions: ALL OF COALITION OUT OF ZONE (Red, combat area) Triggered Actions: AI TASK PUSH (Infantry, 1. alarm green etc.) Now, whenever all red forces in the area have been killed/destroyed, your infantry should start marching immediately. If you need them to be able to be attacked multiple times, add a second trigger to flip their alarm state back to auto or red based on the red coalition being inside the zone instead of out of it. BFQ Posted January 8, 2018 Author Posted January 8, 2018 Thx! This is exactly what I was looking for. My plan is to make a mission where Heli drop troops into combat and when the fight is over, pick them up in an evac-zone and RTB. Right now they stop after firing their guns.
