Vegas Tour: is it supposed to be playable?

Hey all. I'm a newcomer in DCS; i bought the A10C and F5 after some years of hiatus from flight simulation. I wanted to get my feet wet with A10C, and was going to check the Vegas Tour mission; however, I can't understand if it's supposed to be playabler or not. As soon as I get in the mission, I only have an external view, and the A10 goes on its own, controlled by the AI. It takes off and follows a weird path, not even matching the marked waypoints, and it even crashes through the building at some point. I'm using DCS 2.2, and was wondering if I'm missing something.

It is easy done (by yourself) or take this file: https://www.dropbox.com/s/6o8y2l3jy5ttxce/NEVADA%20A-10C%20Vegas%20Tour_mod.miz?dl=0

 

and drop it to C:\Users\<yourname>\Saved Games\DCS.openalpha\Missions

 

and you can open it in Mission / My Mission
