BrzI Posted January 17, 2018 Posted January 17, 2018 I am trying to figure out if you can move the radar scan zone left/right. I found and assigned the keys for up/down just fine. Cannot find anything for left/right even though Chick's documentation points to adding it to the HOTAS. Thanks
jojo Posted January 17, 2018 Posted January 17, 2018 Hi. This isn't Russian fighter. If the scan is reduced it's centered on radar cursor for left right. If your HOTAS allows it, a rotary axis is far more effective for vertical adjustment. :smilewink: Mirage fanatic ! CharlieMike24 Posted January 18, 2018 Posted January 18, 2018 Slew TDC is what you’re looking for. Narrow beam follows this. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
jojo Posted January 18, 2018 Posted January 18, 2018 (edited) By default the RDI scan zone is 120° wide. But the radar command panel (PCR) writing are: +/- 60° = 120° +/-30° = 60° +/-15° = 30° In these last 2 settings you just have to move your radar cursor + The scan zone will remain centered on the radar cursor until scan limit. (In that regard it behaves like F-15C if you have tried it.) The azimuth scan zone is represented by the width of the arc (PPI display) at the top of the radar screen (VTB). It will just be a continuous horizontal line in B mode display. Edited January 18, 2018 by jojo Mirage fanatic !
