Backy 51 Posted January 18, 2018 Posted January 18, 2018 During a recent multiplayer session, I experienced a hard landing on the LHA and ejected from the deck of the Tarawa. The ejection sequence performed flawlessly. As I drifted under canopy towards the deck of the LHA, I fell through the LHA's interior onto the ocean's surface and was then run over by the LHA. My subsequent drowning resulted in an ineffective sortie and posthumous Flight Evaluation Board, or FEB, for loss of aircraft control while landing. Seriously, I presume the coding of the ejection animation does not currently treat the deck of the LHA as a "hard surface" like when you land on the ground. Can this be fixed? This is a low priority issue, but does impact simulator "realism" to some degree. I don't need no stinkin' GPS! (except for PGMs :D) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Timghetta Posted January 18, 2018 Posted January 18, 2018 The ejection sequence doesn't have coding involved, it's all controlled by sim, only parameters are for the sequence itself with the aircraft, or which art to display. Have to check default carrier cause could be a possible issue with the sim itself. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] We take the Metal and bring it to Mesh
Backy 51 Posted January 18, 2018 Author Posted January 18, 2018 Thanks for the info. For the record, it was the USS Tarawa LHA. I will test it against the USS Carl Vinson to see if it also happens on that ship.
