Need advice for new monitor

Good day, i've in my mind to change my old 22.5'' 1680x1050 monitor for a new one.

 

I've recently upgraded my GPU with a Gigabyte GTX 1070 G1 Gaming.

 

My budget isn't great, so i have only 2 choice:

 

-24'' 1440p monitor @60hz 2560x1440 (Lenovo L24q-10 23.8" Quad HD IPS)

-25'' 1080p 21:9 2560x1080 @75hz ( LG 25UM58 )

 

Better to have a 16:9 2K monitor or a full HD 21:9?

 

I'm not able to choice a bigger monitor due to very small desktop space. so i must stay in 23/25'' range.

 

I need advise for my choice.

I would pick the 25" if I had to choose from those 2 choices.

 

The 75Hz made me pick it btw, not the 21:9 1st place.

so, do you think the 15hz difference in refresh rate is a must go solution in this case?

is the difference really noticeable between 60 and 75hz?

there is no big difference, more important is to have them stable, and a high "lowest" fps value.

 

Still, 15Hz may make it more fluent looking, but that depends on many links in the chain and the monitor is only 1 link. Low latency, frame time, Vsync, Gsync, Adaptive Sync will be terms you stumble across when you try to fix stutter or general bad optical performance ;)
