brarna Posted February 9, 2018 Posted February 9, 2018 Hey all, I've been playing a lot of Mirage this past week, and have set up a spare keyboard as a budget button box. Most of the important stuff I've managed to map to keys, but there's a few that are missing. For example: Autopilot altitude selection dials Manual radio frequency dials Radio frequency mode selection: guard, preset etc Since these actions can be done by clicking, I assume it's relatively simple to add them to the keyboard lua. Can anyone point me in the right direction for getting started with this? What files do I need to edit, and where can I find the names of the items/actions that I'll need to add? Thanks very much!
hansangb Posted February 9, 2018 Posted February 9, 2018 If you go to here: https://alternativeto.net/software/controlmk/ And look at VJoy Virtual Joystick, it may do - perform axis functions with a keyboard - what you want w/o having to modify lua files. But when you say you added a keyboard, all keyboards are treated the same. But if you use something like this: http://www.2112design.com/blog/multi-keyboard-remapper/ you can treat the second keyboard as a separate device. Good luck Thanks hansan, although I think that might not be what I'm looking for. My issue is that there are no entries in the controls menu for the actions I'm looking to do. So there's certain things that I can do with the clickable cockpit, but there is no option to assign those actions to a keyboard key. Any idea where I'd look for that?
