sawacs Posted February 11, 2018 Posted February 11, 2018 After this latest 700 and something meg update to DCS 2.5.0.14138.317, DCS no longer starts up. I can get past the login screen but that is as far as it goes. DCS stays on the loading screen...........forever..... Lastly, there are no crash reports that pop up and the game has to be shut down via the task manager. Prior to this update, there were no issues but after this latest update, DCS is no longer usable on my end. Cheers! "When they passed out brains you thought they said trains and you missed both!"

Gazelle Mini-gun version is endorphins with rotors. See above. Currently rolling with a Asus Z390 Prime, 9600K, 32GB RAM, SSD, 2080Ti and Windows 10Pro, Rift CV1. bu0836x and Scratch Built Pedals, Collective and Cyclic.

I did try the repair along with the update again but that did not work. However, I did find a solution. I went into the users/my name/saved games/dcs.openbeta folder and made a backup of the config folder (I would rather have my nipples pierced with a hot soldering gun tip than re-configure all of the control inputs!:joystick:). Then I deleted all of the files in the DCS.openbeta folder, restarted DCS Openbeta and walla! After loading DCS, I exited and placed my saved config folder back into the DCS.openbeta folder and all is well.
