Hey,

I've tested this quite a few times but maybe some of you guys can verify. During any type of mission weather it's a campaign or a SP custom map I would get the micro stutters every 10 to 15 seconds or so. While opening task manager in game I discovered that when the micro stutter occurred the GPU load would decrease approximately 50% and my WiFi would spike to 100% simultaneously. Turning off my network and playing offline solved the problem. No stuttering. My PC is not near a hard line so I can't verify if this applies to only WiFi or to a hard line as well. Hopefully this information helps in some way. Cheers!

****Update****

I've narrowed my stuttering issue down to the "Spooler Subsystem App" which is an exe which handles printing/faxing on a network. If anyone has a wireless printer on their network try disabling the service in task manager and see if that helps.

****Update 2****

Well, with the spoolsv.exe App disabled the frequent stuttering has stopped but there still remained a small stutter every few minutes:doh:. With lots of testing it looks like this is the primary culprit. dasHost.exe. This may be related to the "Spooler" app in that it's so windows can communicate with certain wired or wireless peripherals. It has apparently been the cause of stuttering issues in a few games since Windows 7. I've since disabled it and now DCS runs smooth as silk with absolutely no stutters... but...my wireless printer is now offline. Worthy trade in my eyes:thumbup: .

That's really interesting I will check this myself and report back I'm also on wifi.

I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy and I've had both.
