Aside of left them without chaff release capability (something wouldnґt be such a big problem in the actual Iraq scenery) the software needed and the device integration study could be more than serious problem (indeed a whole update program!). One thing is that a piece of hardware can be multipurpose and other, quite different, is that the plataform can fully support it. Think it this way: that M-130 dispenser location can be optimal for the chaffs release task...but could be not only ineffective but also dangerous for the aircraft operation in the case of flares release. Believe me, itґs not just that easy :smilewink:
