Corrupted mission in MIssion Editor

Strange problem. For some reason , at times, MIssion Editor, refuses to save a mission. Once that happens, Mission Editor goes wonky. Exit (from editor) stops responding. Unit selection and map object selection stops working. DCS then needs to be killed in Task Manager. Worse, the mission file is now corrupted. Loading it loads an empty mission. Mission file attached.
