Great job, I like reading those combat stories:D

 

EDIT: The Fantasmagoria is not an ECM pod, it is a RADAR radiation seeker that used in SEAD missions to find enemy SAM RADAR stations and guide anti radiation missiles to it.

 

The ECM pods are those pods next to your wingtips.

 

Oh and I think that you forgot to turn off you nav lights after takeoff;)

:thumbup: Yeah...one of the users on SimHQ pointed out my folly..I forgot that the L-081 is a targeting pod..not a self-protection pod.. :doh: And yeah..I need to remember to turn off my lights..!

Beach, do you leave your lights on during your attack runs in your day job? You know better than that. :D

 

I have a co-pilot to yell at me when I screw up in my day job...we just need ED to code the wingmen to call over the radio:

 

Wingman #1: "Uh..Idiot Leader..do you really want to leave your lights on during the attack...?"

 

Me: "Is that any way to address a superior officer!?"

 

Wingman #1: "Uh..Idiot Leader Sir ....do you really want to leave your lights on during the attack...?
