Tiger-II Posted February 25, 2018 Posted February 25, 2018 (edited) Hi, If I load the jet clean, and then use the F1 "Refuel/rearm" menu to add external tanks, no matter what I do, they will not fill with fuel. When I switch to external tanks, I get MASTER CAUTION, and no fuel transfer. If I set the tanks in the mission editor and load the aircraft, they contain fuel. Again, they do not refill when refuelling. The JF-17 is not better than the F-16; it's different. It's how you fly that counts. "An average aircraft with a skilled pilot, will out-perform the superior aircraft with an average pilot."
tom_19d Posted February 26, 2018 Posted February 26, 2018 I almost always take off with 3 tanks (multiplayer, Caucus map) and have never had this issue with 2.5. I had seen it a time or two in 1.5 like a year ago-- when reamring/refueling in multiplayer I always select my loadout, then drag the fuel slider down a bit and then max it out, then press OK. Not sure if the last step actually does anything or not but like I said, it has been over a year since I switched into an empty tank and I have never had an issue with 2.5. DaveRindner Posted March 26, 2018 Posted March 26, 2018 Taxi to re-arm point. Ask for chocks, ground electric power, and air supply. But do not ask them to apply it yet. Shut down the engines, reset fuel cutoff valves (OFF/ON), and turn off fuel pumps. Ask ground crew to offload all fuel, all weapons, and tanks. After they are done. Ask ground crew to re-load the tanks and desired ordnance. Turn ON fuel pumps and follow engine start up. Remember to ask ground crew to remove chalks and ground electric power, before rolling.
