DieHard Posted March 3, 2018 Posted March 3, 2018 Concerning Ka-50 and Mi-8MTV2 Using 104th's "Operation Longbow" current missions in MP doing night time mission sorties, both aircraft are missing analog dials illumination since the 2.5 OpenBeta started, still. Thanks [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
msalama Posted March 3, 2018 Posted March 3, 2018 (edited) Don't know about the Shark since I haven't flown her in ages, but there's nothing wrong with the Hip's gauge backlighting at least - just flew an MP night mission yesterday and it was 100% OK. Do you fly with deferred shading on or off? Edited March 3, 2018 by msalama The DCS Mi-8MTV2. The best aviational BBW experience you could ever dream of.
DieHard Posted March 3, 2018 Author Posted March 3, 2018 Both ways. I will experiment. Thanks for the tips idea. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
DieHard Posted March 4, 2018 Author Posted March 4, 2018 (edited) Mi-8 Cockpit Lighting 2.5 OpenBeta is working good in pitch-black conditions wee hours this morning using the 104th's MP server. Experimented various setups, all 4 methods, Deferred Shading On or Off. There are 2 dome lights, 6 circular rheostats, a working NVG, a flashlight and a rotary knob behind the #2 pilot. Mi-8 is looking good, now. -+- Ka-50 still needs to be fixed. Compare night ops using the 1.5.8 version.
