Gpruitt54 Posted March 5, 2018 Posted March 5, 2018 The trim settings in my installation of the F5-E is not working correctly. I have the trim bound to my X55 HOTAS trim hat as well as the standard keyboard. Whenever I move the trim, with the HOTAS or keyboard, the trim continues moving and does not stop until the trim reaches the limits. When I move the trim in the opposite direction, the trim surface continues to move until it reaches the limit of movement. However, if I control the trim hat with the mouse, as it manipulating a cockpit switch, the trim behaves correctly. In all cases, the elevator trim indicator shows movement of the surface as described. Also, in flight, the plane is up and down as the elevator trim is always on the move in one direction or another, making the plane impossible to fly. I'v tried several things as suggested my members of this forum, but nothing has fixed the problem. I've tested all the other modules I own, and this happens only with the F5-E. All other modules are functioning properly. I've also issued support tickets with DCS. MAYDAY... MAYDAY...! QUESTIONS: Has anyone experienced this or something similar? If any of you has seem something like this, how did you solve it? Would a reinstall of this specific module (F5-E) possibly resolve this issue? How does one reinstall a specific module?
