Hornetjock Posted March 19, 2018 Posted March 19, 2018 My CH Throttle controller is not working for the quickstart TF 51 that I am trying to train on. At the "Fly" button it slams to full power and will not respond to inputs (with predictable results). It appears in the sim and the axis tuning seems ok. Buttons are assigned and working, just not the Z control. It works fine in P3D. Please help as it is holding back the Spitfire download.
lemoen Posted March 19, 2018 Posted March 19, 2018 Make sure your throttle axis only has one device assigned to it. It is possible your joystick or rudder pedals are also assigned to throttle, causing a conflict.
Hornetjock Posted March 19, 2018 Author Posted March 19, 2018 Thanks Iemoen...yep got that advice from other similar posts on controller issues and I have even unassigned the keyboard functions for the throttle. I cannot see any obvious conflicts
Daze58 Posted March 19, 2018 Posted March 19, 2018 I had a problem with my throttle also. random switching and such... turns out I had my usb in a hub.. that was the trouble. Wasn't getting enough power from mother board [HVY-A]Daze:pilotfly:
Hornetjock Posted March 19, 2018 Author Posted March 19, 2018 Thanks Daze58...thought of that too. It works fine in P3D and DCS is recognising it ok. The other buttons on the throttle I have assigned work ok on the TF 51. Its got me stumped.
Hornetjock Posted March 19, 2018 Author Posted March 19, 2018 I just disconnected both throttle and stick and ran the TF 51. Perfect responses to power input by using the throttle in the aircraft with mouse. So it has to be a controller issue.
