Pilotasso Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 Problem is, most new pre-built systems out there don't have XP as an option. You have to get vista. Im going to buy the parts seperatly and build it myself, just like my current machine wich is already 3 years old. You would be amazed how much you save by not paying the assembly labor time at the shop. Branded machines will also cost something extra. Today it is very common to buy parts seperatly and component market has adapted to that offering good warranty. I have never had any problem replacing parts even when I cant fully prove it wasnt my fault they broke. .
VMFA-Blaze Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 Usually you can just call for an RMA... and its no question's asked... They just take it back.... but make sure that you don't throw out any box's, adapters, manuals, etc....items that shipped with the part.. They always want this stuff back, and if its not present they can deduct it from the original price... Now the RMA's are normally good up until 30 days from purchase... But I've been allowed to send back hardware even after the 30 day expiration date... ~S~ Blaze intel Cor i7-6700K ASUS ROG MAX VIII Extreme G.Skill TridentZ Series 32 GB Samsung 850 Pro 1TB SATA II ASUS GTX 1080/DIRECTX 12 Windows 10 PRO Thrustmaster Warthog Oculus Rift VR
