Tanker Immortal option

I have been experimenting with the refueling missions and while I have no problem making my tankers immortal, for some reasons, they will return to base as soon as hit/damaged. Am I missing something while using the immortal feature?

Set them to "no reaction to threat" in the advanced wp commands area.
