Huey skin Help.

Hey all, trying to add a couple huey skins as I just got it if but I followed the i stalled thng but the didn't go in game. It was t to default c: drive but my DC S is on. my ssd z:drive i tried both C: and Z: and nothing. So where can I put them individually to load in game i see the skins files but there is no lua thing like I've see. On the jets. Any help would be great.

in your user profile there is a folder called saved games.

at the same folder level as my documents.

c:\users\yourusername\saved games

it contains a dcs folder. put the skins in this folder with the same folder structure as the game folder and they will overwrite existing files and folders in the game folder on launch.

it has to be a mirror of the game folder. to work.

 

its the new way of installing mods etc. rather than directly messing with the game files.

 

put missions you download here to. in the missions folder.

it should leave the main files "pure" and keep the mods separate.

and you wont have to reinstall mods after updating the game.. as it wont overwrite them.

Or create a new ovgme category right now you should have mandatory mods directory and n optional mods setup in ovgme create a new one called personal and put your personal mods in this directory and ovgme will see them if they are formatted correctly and all you will need to do then enable them in ovgme. I hope two things you understand what I’m trying to say and two it works for you. Btw when you have the time I’m trying to learn how to build a mission and could use some help buddy maybe you would help me get started on one of your off days.
