ARRET RADAR after all rockets have been fired

After I successfully fire all rockets/guns, if I switch off radar and master arm, the message "ARRET RADAR" keeps showing on the hud.

I know the indication is quite OK, as it's warning me the radar is off; but I want it off since I'm about to return to base and don't need it anymore.

I tried several options, like switching on/off master arm, gun...tried also to select the rocket pylons to deactivate them, but they are no longer lit on the PCA; also tried to select the APP mode and in that case, the message disspears, but it goes on again if I disable the APP mode.

Is that the intended behavior? The only time the message dissapeared is after I rearmed at the base. Don't know exactly when; once the aircraft rearmed, the message was gone.

Did you try to swith to BVR mode? I've done that before, put the radar in bvr and then swith it to stand by and the "arret radar" goes away. I think it happens because the radar computer gets stuck in A2G ranging mode for CCIP. So throwing it to bvr returns the radar to normal operation mode.

jojo: that's what I do; I don' really switch the radar off; it set it to SIL (I didn't explain it propperly).

Anyway, the "ARRET RADAR" message shows up and there's no way to remove it (unless you switch to APP mode).

But switching to BVR and back as Chris suggested did the trick! Once you go into BVR, you can set the radar to SIL and get no "ARRET RADAR" message on the HUD.

Don't know if that's how it should be, but it works for me.
