Hi

I just upgraded to an Asus GTX1080 card to power my Vive as mt GTX970Ti seemed to be struggling in DCS.

I have installed the new card and it runs games fine but I have noticed that there is a crackly sound through the audio when I'm playing on the Vive. I was on the Vive this morning, before I put the new card in and it was fine. The audio issues seem to get worse when the card is having to work harder. I was playing Subnautica and the crackling wasn't too bad until I moved my head.

I have tried playing non-VR games and there are no sound issues. I am assuming that the problem is something to do with the audio through HDMI.

Has anyone come across this issue or any idea how to fix it?

Cheers!

I seem to have solved it. I disabled the Vive in the Playback Devices and then re-enabled it. No crackling since then.
