Picture labeling

Hello,

 

i will try to build a little mission to train picture labeling and sorties.

 

My plan was put some enemy groups in the mission and i will activate them by time or via the f10 menu.

 

I checked the formation option in the ME but there are only few basic formations like finger four, echolon, line abreast.

 

I want formation like 2 groups range deep 10 or a azimuth 10.

I tried to but 2 groups in there with the same speed and altitude and range 10 but after i started the mission both are groups flyingpretty close like 1nm not 10nm.

 

Is there a possibility to create a mission and keep the aircrafts in this formation until they want to attack or defend?

Did you put in waypoints? If you make a patrol route, then duplicate it about 10nm behind for the second group, it doesn't work?

yea they had waypoints but i didnt put it to patrol route. I will check it out

You can try to set spacing manually using the "Follow" action but things tend to get very spotty in turns.

 

The WW2 big bomber formations also offer more options.

Yea. I used the Follow action its not 100% like should be. But its enough

 

Yea i need to play around :)
