The mysteries of the disappearing cockpit textures

On a fresh (and I do mean fresh) install straight from 1.02+1.1+1.11+1.12a I have missing textures during certain aspects of the cockpit view.

This is ss of Su-33 emergency flight demo taken after ctrl-q. Ill test further a/c but Ive ran through the other demos and this only happened so far on the Su-33.

 

Edit: It does the same thing in the -25T only difference is that its constant and no amount of head turning removes it.

Seems to be a driver problem because since i have the

new Nvidia Beta Driver "101.41 Forceware" (for Vista)

installed, it never came up again!:D

Just give it a try and install a new/other driver!:thumbup:

Problem for me is that those drivers are incompatible with my laptop for some reason. I made a temp fix and it seems to work fine, but its gonna nag at me when I need performance instead of good looks. I remember that thread...Ill have to dig around in it and see about changing the clipping so I can view far distances...Just did that and still didnt work. =\

 

What I did was went out from 1024x768 and straight to 1440x900 and the aspect of the pics look stretched.
