Very good effort.

 

 

A couple of comments: Your tanker could use +35kts IAS (~275kts).

The approach should not look like you're in danger of colliding with the boom - you should be coming in underneath it and pulling up to it ... more or less tanker altitude -50'.

It would be useful if your observation position should line up the tanker's wingtip lights, meaning it should also be high enough to see the far light.

That's ok, I think you did great. Just little tweaks to increase the pro factor of a good tutorial :)
