Autopilot / NWS disengage paddle give AUTOPILOT warning after G-Limit overide

When pulling a High G maneuver and pressing the paddle to disable the G-limiter, i immediately get an AUTO PILOT alert on my left DDI and it will not go away from that point on.

 

Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong:? let me know if you need screenshots.

Message I think should go away after a bit. But just isn't yet.
